SXSW 2017 with Singer Song-writer Maggie Koerner

The Shreveport born singer-songwriter Maggie Koerner is no stranger to the stage.  She has performed with a list of iconic acts that has included Widespread Panic, Gov’t Mule and Charles Bradley.  She has also spent time music touring the country at music festivals like the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival, Austin City Limits and Pemberton Music Festival  Her SXSW debut occurred tonight on the Mazda Studio stage at Empire Studio & Garage.

Maggie Koerner’s music and stage performance is filled with high energy and strong vocals.  She also knows how to leverage steamy, sultry Cajun sensuality on her ballads.

Maggie released her “Dig Down Deep (EP)” in December 2016.  This EP was produced by esteemed UK producer Fink (Amy Winehouse, John Legend, Banks.  I look forward to hearing more from Maggie Koerner as her career advances and to see her set list grow.
