Miller Lite and Alt 105.7 radio station have teamed up to give one band a spot on stage at the Bonnaro Music & Arts Festival. Sixteen quarter finalist bands competed to take the legendary stage at the 2018 Bonnaroo Music Festival, this June in Manchester Tennessee. Four of the quarter finalist bands that performed tonight were: Camera Box, The Howling Tongues. The Night Shift and Sex Farm. Two of these bands would move on to be featured on the Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival’s bill along side artists and bands such as: Eminem, The Killers, Muse, Future, Bassnectar, Dua Lipa, The Revivalists,Thundercat, Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue, Sheryl Crow, Anderson.Paak and more!
Sex Farm is a high energy punk rock band. The band music has some influences from other improvisational genres like jazz and hip hop. Their latest project Other Bands Blow can be found on their Band Camp page.
Alternative rock band The Night Shift has a sound incorporating influences from many genres including alternative rock, psych rock, folk, and jam music. The Night Shift. is working towards their first LP and creating more diverse and improvisational based live shows.
The Howling Tongues. is on a mission to bring back the roots of rock’n’roll with loud guitar amps, giant kick drums, fuzzy bass tones, over-driven organ, and raspy vocals. Their sound is heavily influenced by classic garage rock bands. The band’s 2016 project Boo Hiss is available on iTunes. Google Play, Amazon and Spotify.
Camera Box is a blues influenced alternative rock quintet.

The two bands that moved on to the semi-finals were Camera Box and The Howling Tongues.

These bands will compete in the semi-finals at Smith’s Olde Bar. Two of the bands from each night of the semi-finals will move onto the Road to Roo City finals on March 28th at the Atlanta Sport and Social Club. From there two bands will move on to the State Finals to represent Atlanta on April 28th at the Atlanta Sport and Social Club.
Doors for each show are at 7PM and the first band hits the stage at 8PM.
