Georgia native Dara Carter started her musical career with classical piano lessons at the age of three. Since then, she’s continued to evolve and grow as an artist. With an initial focus on classical and jazz piano, Dara Carter‘s style is now one that is not genre specific but has a soulful touch. She has performed on the Apollo Theater‘s stage and for President Barack Obama at the White House. Tonight she brought her talents to Eddie’s Attic‘s intimate listening room.
You may have also heard Dara Carter when she was featured on air at WABE Atlanta, Hot 105 Miami, and Atlanta’s Hot 107.9 or seen her when she graced the pages of Jezebel magazine. I am pleased to have had the chance to capture tonight’s performance at Eddie’s Attic for Libro Musica Live!
Dara Carter “King of Hearts”
“King of Hearts” is a song Dara Carter wrote when she was a teenager. It’s a song where she opens up her heart to let her ideal person know what it takes to become the king of her heart. This is one that every lady should add to their first date playlist.
You gotta be ready to
follow me to my dreams anytime
You gotta walk just what
you talk no games no excuses
