Valentine’s Day Q&A With Marty Manous
What’s your favorite love song?
My favorite love song is “Don’t Let Me Go” a song I wrote for my fiance. its about truly being thankful for finding my one true soulmate or twin flame as some refer to it.
What’s your favorite breakup song?
My favorite break up song by another artist would probably be “Bell Bottom Blues” by Derek and The Dominoes. Bell Bottom Blues is just truly an emotional song along with that entire album. You can really hear Clapton hurting in those songs.
I also have a break up song called “Not Worth Another Song” that I wrote when I was 16 which is on my first album.
Do you have any favorite traditions for valentine’s day?
I think the most important thing is to spend time with the person you love most and remember to never take for granted what you have.
Is there one of your original songs that you think everyone needs on their valentine’s day playlist or on their breakup playlist?
I feel like “Don’t Let Me Go” has a great message and really captures the feeling of finding, feeling and being in love.
