Atlanta Jazz Festival 2019 Line Up

Memorial Day weekend is often considered the unofficial kick off of the summer. For the Atlanta Jazz Festival the city comes out to celebrate summer at the nation’s longest running free jazz festival . If you are wondering who will be performing in Piedmont Park at this year’s Atlanta Jazz Festival? Look no further, Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms just made a video announcement of the lineup for the 42nd annual Atlanta Jazz Festival.

The 2019 Atlanta Jazz Festival will happen over Memorial Day Weekend on Saturday, May 25 and Sunday, May 26, in Piedmont Park.

31 Days of Jazz

Throughout the month of May, in preparation for the Atlanta Jazz Festival on Memorial Day Weekend, the City of Atlanta’s Mayor’s Office of Cultural Affairs will host 31 Days of Jazz events throughout metro Atlanta starting on May 1.  From MARTA stations, galleries and museums to restaurants and local neighborhood parks, 31 Days of Jazz provides a little something for everyone.

The free Neighborhood Jazz Series takes place at various City of Atlanta parks every Saturday and Sunday throughout the month of May leading up to the annual Atlanta Jazz Festival.

  • Saturday, May 11: 4pm – 8pm in Washington Park
  • Sunday, May 12: 4pm – 8pm in Grant Park
  • Saturday, May 18: 4pm – 8pm in John A. White Park
